From earth, the ceramic is shaped and then covered with a hand-applied flame glaze.
Through a high-temperature firing process, the glaze transforms under the influence of fire, creating distinct shades, color transitions, and crackle patterns on the surface.
This transformation depends on many variables in the kiln, which is why each firing yields results that are never exactly the same.
No two surfaces are ever replicated identically.

It is where technique and improvisation meet:
the form is created by hand,
while the final appearance is completed in the fire.

Ceramic retains the raw properties of earth: hardness, volume, and the tangible presence of matter.
Flame glaze overlays it with a rich, variable surface where light, color, and crackle lines coexist.
Two seemingly opposing states meet in a single piece:
on one side, the crafted form,
on the other, the traces determined by fire.

We do not seek to erase the marks of that process.
We preserve them.

A crackle line.
A color shift.
A highlight on the glaze.

Each piece therefore carries its own unique appearance:
created from earth,
passed through fire,
and holding a trace that cannot be repeated.
