From earth, the ceramic is shaped and coated with a hand-applied kiln glaze.
Through high-temperature firing, the glaze transforms under the influence of fire, creating distinct shades, gradients, and crackle patterns on the surface.
This transformation depends on various factors during the firing process, so each kiln load yields unique results.
No two surfaces are ever exactly the same.

This is where technique and improvisation meet:
the form is crafted by hand,
while the final appearance is perfected in the fire.

The ceramic retains the raw essence of earth: hardness, volume, and the tangible presence of matter.
The kiln glaze overlays this with a surface rich in variation, where light, shade, and crackle lines coexist.
Two seemingly opposing states meet in a single piece:
one is the crafted form,
the other is the trace determined by fire.

We do not seek to erase the marks of this process.
We preserve them.
