From earth, the ceramic is shaped and coated with a hand-applied flame glaze.
Through high-temperature firing, the glaze transforms under the influence of the fire, creating unique shades, color transitions, and crackle patterns on the surface.
This transformation depends on various firing factors, meaning each kiln session yields slightly different results.
No two surfaces are ever exactly alike.

It is where technique meets spontaneity:
the form is crafted by hand,
while the final appearance is perfected by fire.

The ceramic retains the primal qualities of earth: hardness, volume, and the clear presence of material.
The flame glaze blankets it with a richly variegated surface, where light, tone, and crackle lines coexist.
Two seemingly opposing states meet in a single piece:
one is the crafted form,
the other is the trace left by the fire.

We do not seek to erase the traces of that process.
We preserve them.

A crackle line.
A color shift.
A highlight on the glaze.

Each piece therefore bears its own unique appearance:
created from earth,
passed through fire,
and holding an irreproducible mark.
