From earth, the ceramic is shaped and then covered in hand-applied flame glaze.
Through high-temperature firing, the glaze transforms under the influence of fire, creating distinct shades, gradients, and crackle patterns on the surface.
This transformation depends on many variables in the firing process, so each firing yields a slightly different result.
No two surfaces are ever identical.

This is where technique meets improvisation:
the form is crafted by hand,
while the final appearance is perfected by fire.

Ceramic retains the raw essence of earth: hardness, volume, and the distinct presence of matter.
Flame glaze overlays this with a rich, transformative surface, where light, shade, and crackle lines coexist.
Two seemingly opposing states meet in a single piece:
on one side, a deliberate form;
on the other, the traces determined by fire.

We do not seek to erase the marks of this process.
We preserve them.

A crackle line.
A gradient.
A highlight on the glaze.

Each piece therefore carries its own unique identity:
shaped from earth,
passed through fire,
and holding a trace that cannot be repeated.
