One day, out of nowhere, a tiny grain of sand drifted along the water and stuck to my oyster shell. That grain of sand brought with it a wound, an unexpected invasion. At first, I felt uncomfortable, itchy and tried to push it away. But the grain of sand stuck firmly, embedded deep into the shell.
As time passed, instead of trying to push the sand away, I began to adapt. My body gradually secreted a special fluid that surrounded the sand, forming a thin shell. That shell grew thicker and thicker, more and more sparkling, and gradually turned into a precious pearl.
That small, rough grain of sand, thanks to the patience and sacrifice of the oysters, has been transformed into a splendid pearl, carrying the perfect beauty of the ocean. That pearl is a testament to the extraordinary power of perseverance, love and forgiveness.
The story of the oyster and the pearl is a reminder to us of the true values in life. Not everything that begins with difficulties and challenges leads to failure.
