"Cheesy" or classy
When we look at someone wearing inappropriate, overly flashy, or age-appropriate clothing, we feel, "What a tacky outfit!" "It looks so tacky and cheap." For example, a woman wears a floral shirt with elaborate details and bright colors, or an evening gown with sequin details to a birthday party. But is "tacky" bad?
The answer depends on how we are cheesy. Cheesy in a way that matches our emotions and personality. Cheesy in a way that all the colors are harmoniously harmonized. Knowing how to be cheesy will turn cheesy into our own aesthetic value.
If you say cheap cheesy, I think you will change your mind when you know that Miuccia Prada, the designer behind two leading Italian fashion houses Prada and Miu Miu, or designer Donatella Versace, who took over the Versace empire since the 90s, are women who have a loyal love for cheesy.
Obviously, the price of an item does not determine how tacky it is. An expensive item can still be considered tacky if it is not appropriate for the occasion or does not match the wearer's personal style.
