In a mature woman's wardrobe, each choice is not just a statement of style, but also a testament to the values she upholds. In an age of rapid decision-making and instant information, rejecting the noisy wave of fast fashion to return to the authentic value of hand embroidery is not merely an aesthetic choice—it is a contemplative act, an investment in enduring values.
Hand embroidery and a dialogue with the future: from speed to depth.
Not swept along by the noisy wave of fast fashion, nor mingled with fleeting trends, for decades, haute couture has always reserved a special place for the art of hand embroidery, viewing it as a quiet testament to true luxury. Though never celebrated with fanfare, hand-embroidered works endure as a testament to the timeless value of exquisite craftsmanship.
However, it wasn't until the sustainability revolution truly spread that its value was fully re-evaluated. According to McKinsey's "The State of Fashion 2024" report, there's a clear shift in the behavior of high-end consumers: they prioritize products with a story, uniqueness, and heritage value. "Buy less, buy better" has become a philosophy, and in this context, hand-embroidered fashion is experiencing its strongest resurgence in history.
This is not just the return of a craft. It's the rise of an ideology where the value of an item lies not in its logo, but in the number of hours the artisan worked, in its connection to the local culture, and in its commitment to the environment. It aligns with a reading culture, where people take the time to "read" each detail, to empathize with the story behind it instead of skimming through lifeless images.
"Dream": Where craftsmanship blends with contemporary spirit
Amidst that endless stream of creativity, "Dream" by Hity stands out as a profound and distinctive note. "Dream" doesn't seek to overwhelm with ostentation, but rather conquers with precious moments of quietude. The beauty of "Dream" lies in a subtle, wordless dialogue between two extremes: on one side, the serene simplicity of minimalist silhouettes on rustic linen fabric, and on the other, the vibrant, meticulous detail of handcrafted embroidery. Instead of an elaborate design, "Dream" proactively yields the floor, allowing the values of heritage to speak for themselves. This is how Hity creates a perfectly harmonious work, where modern thinking and traditional art shine together.
The talented artist Thu Vân has not only embroidered motifs, but has also painted a miniature landscape of a peaceful tropical region. The bright, clear colors of "Dream" open up a space where plants, flowers, and a cool climate blend together. It is a metaphor for a state of mind that modern women always seek: peace and tranquility to regenerate energy amidst a busy life.
"Dream" gently touches the hearts of art lovers with its soft, tranquil feel, bringing a serene blend of humanity and nature. Every stitch in "Dream" paints a picture of a peaceful land, where life is immersed in plants and flowers, preserving its pristine and serene beauty. There, nature embraces, providing fresh air and warm life energy. In "Dream," people learn to breathe deeply, feeling the rhythm of the plants and trees. The bright colors of "Dream" evoke a tropical landscape, where plants and a cool climate intertwine, creating a vibrant and lively natural scene. Through the graceful combination of minimalist contemporary fashion and indigenous craftsmanship, "Dream" allows fashion enthusiasts to experience refined beauty in each design.
In the pristine white of hand-embroidered linen, one clearly feels the power of minimalist, elegant beauty. This gentleness not only connects the soul with nature but also brings a profound sense of peace. Hand-embroidered white linen has become a symbol of refined and luxurious aesthetics. When wearing this garment, the wearer feels at one with nature thanks to the natural linen fabric. The pure white color skillfully expresses a desire for simplicity and purity in modern life. With hand-embroidered white linen, we also convey a message of cherishing sustainable local cultural values. Regardless of the story it tells, a woman in hand-embroidered white linen always exudes elegance, femininity, and allure. The gentle appearance, relaxed demeanor, and the captivating combination of minimalism and delicate beauty make hand-embroidered white linen the perfect choice for those who appreciate refined and graceful beauty.
Against a backdrop of white linen, fashion transcends noisy trends, becoming a gentle love song. There, our souls find peace, connecting with nature through the simple threads of the fabric, and being soothed by the pristine white. Against this white background, hand-embroidered details are no longer mere decorations; they are narratives of culture, imprints of heritage preserved with heartfelt devotion. Wearing this design, a woman is not merely wearing an outfit. She carries within her a serene haven, a feminine, elegant beauty that is effortless. It is the powerful allure of tranquility, the sophisticated beauty of souls constantly seeking simplicity and refinement.
Wearing a design from "Dream" is a sensory experience. The softness of the linen fabric gently touches the skin, the exquisite hand-embroidered details can be felt with the fingertips, and the mind is soothed by the story of a pristine, unspoiled land.
Ultimately, just like choosing a good book instead of browsing social media, selecting a hand-embroidered piece like "Dream" is a statement about preserving values that are gradually being forgotten. It's how a mature woman not only builds a career but also contributes to preserving heritage and shaping a more sustainable future, for herself and for future generations.
Cam Tam Tu Khau: Connecting Traditional Handicraft Heritage
The journey of "Dream" began with a serendipitous encounter, a meeting between hearts that beat in unison with Vietnamese culture. It was when Hity, driven by a desire to bring heritage into contemporary life, was fortunate enough to meet and connect with talented female hand embroidery artisans: Ms. Thu Vân from An Phước village, Bến Tre, and Ms. Ty Trang from Nha Trang city, Khánh Hòa province.
From that encounter, the "Cam Tam Tu Khau" project was born to realize the aspirations of Vietnamese artisans to return to their most fundamental values: the clicking sound of the embroidery frame, the meticulousness in every stitch and needlework, and the beauty of slow fashion – a fashion created by time, patience, and the soul of the artisan.
Cam Tam Tu Khau is a journey to preserve and develop traditional handicraft values, the essence that our ancestors have developed and preserved for hundreds of years. From there, we will together create a creative platform for artisans to showcase and introduce the finest aspects of handicraft art to enthusiasts.
"Dream" was born like that - the opening chapter of a proud journey, telling the story of the quintessential values that we are striving to preserve.
