Lina’s love for creating content traces back to her childhood, long before Instagram existed. She fondly recalls hours spent at her grandmother’s village, poring over her father’s black leather photo album—a treasure trove of memories with a distinct scent of nostalgia. Each captioned photo transported her to moments frozen in time, especially the travel images that captivated her most.

“I’d listen to my dad narrate every moment, imagining myself traveling the world with a camera, collecting memories like beads on a necklace.” Lina shared.

Her Instagram journey began in 2013, initially as a casual outlet for joy, but always with a dream of traveling abroad with her family. However, tragedy struck in 2014 when her father passed away after a long illness, leaving behind the cherished photo album and an unfulfilled dream of exploring other countries, particularly Asia. A passionate amateur photographer, her father had nurtured Lina’s love for travel, aesthetics, and photography, often sharing his fascination with Asia—a region he longed to experience but never did. “He planted a seed in me—the desire to see Asia and the world.” Lina reflected. 

After his passing, her father’s dreams became her own, igniting a determination to travel and document the journey he never could. Now, as she wanders through Asia and beyond, camera in hand and heart open, Lina feels a profound connection to her father. “Each country, each photo, is a quiet conversation with him—stitching our stories across time and distance,” she said. From sunsets to temples and winding streets, every frame echoes the journey her father dreamed of, a legacy she carries with every step.
